BlackBerry Launch Abort Two Cheap Cell Phones

Jakarta-behind teamwork with Foxconn, BlackBerry secretly decided to cancel the launch of two mobile phones codenamed the BlackBerry Cafe and Kospi. The two phones that are currently still in the development stage. According to a source, the company concerned would be the fate of the second mobile phone. This step is also performed to protect the risk of another loss that will probably happen.

The mobile phone is actually a project before John Chen, CEO Thorsten Heins. Both the low-end mobile phone plan launched for emerging markets. As for high-end phones made by Canada that vendors will still continue to be produced.

Cnet site also wrote, in addition to cancel the launch of a second mobile phone, the BlackBerry also cancels the event LIVE BlackBerry global conference in 2014. Instead, the company will be holding a number of smaller conferences in various countries starting next year. In the event, the plan will focus on introduction of BlackBerry's new products and plans throughout the year.

Earlier, BlackBerry reportedly entered into a partnership with Foxconn for the next five years. This cooperation includes the design, manufacture, workmanship and handle all of the supplies of the new BlackBerry models. John Chen also explained, Foxconn will be requested to make the product a high-end and low-end. Low-end mobile phone is slid in April next year in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. The deal also made corresponding gains on investment sales and will be shared by Foxconn and BlackBerry.
